At the recent European Microfinance Week, Advans had the privilege of contributing to an insightful panel discussion on Climate Resilience and Governance.
Represented by Meriem Zine, CEO of Advans Tunisie, and Grégoire Danel-Fédou, Deputy CEO of the Advans Group, we joined other Financial Service Providers (FSPs) and Development Financial Institutions (DFIs) to discuss:
Grégoire Danel-Fédou shared the Group approach in conducting climate risk assessments. Shedding light on the methodology, he emphasized the importance of integrating climate data into strategic planning.
Meriem Zine highlighted how Advans Tunisie is leveraging its local risk assessment to shape its climate strategy, and the development of sustainable financial products tailored to the needs of local businesses.
Thank you to our fellow panelists from VisionFund Senegal, FMO – Dutch entrepreneurial development bank, Oxfam Novib, and Triple Jump for the engaging discussions and shared commitment to climate resilience.
Together, we are paving the way towards a more sustainable and resilient future for small business owners across Africa.
